Workplace Media Lab exists to raise the standard of how you show up in remote work.
In today’s environment, your presence on camera is part of your professional identity. Yet many professionals are working with setups that don’t always reflect their level of experience, skill, and notoriety.
Capable professionals are too often held back by poor video quality, uneven lighting, distracting audio, or underused technology. Not because they lack ability, but because their setup doesn’t support them.
Workplace Media Lab focuses on fixing that.
Through practical guidance and simple improvements, the goal is to help you look polished, sound clear, and operate more effectively in every virtual interaction.
Workplace Media Lab is built on a foundation of real-world experience.
My name is Louis Fatato and I'm based out of Philadelphia, PA. I have a background in audio production and have spent the last decade working in corporate AV/IT in an international law firm environment. In that role, I support the firm's video conferencing systems, webinar platforms, conference room technology, and high-profile client meetings across a wide range of industries.
Working behind the scenes in these environments has provided me a unique perspective. My career has been focused on how professionals communicate in real-time, relying on technology to present their ideas and interact with their colleagues and clients.
Being in this field, I've seen the best, the worst, and the meh of virtual meeting setups and workflows, and I want to share my experiences and expertise to a wider audience.
I created Workplace Media Lab to provide guidance for all professionals looking to improve their virtual presence and gain a better skillset with virtual meeting platforms.
